Diapers

So the time has come that I'm taking the plunge...well that and money issues. We are slowly switching to cloth diapering(well right now fully CDing in the day and using my couple disposables at night). I'm tired of spending money every 4-5days on disposables and the fact that once she moves up to size 2's we will get less diapers and buy them even more often(shes a pooper!)
So far I have a Bummis Cover(frog pond one) that we got on a wonderful awesome deal....$2.99 at a childrens resale store, as well as a Snappi(blue but ohwell) for $0.99! And the wonderful owner at our local mom store gave us a Green Snappi free, because my husband was going to use our Secured Card from our bank to by it and she said dont' worry about it! It was a good day. As well as a couple ladies from my favorite mommy site, JustMommies, offered to help. One gal is sending us some disposables that her son out grew, another is sending us a small stash of cloth and one other gal said she is sending us a cover. It helps tremendously after our bank accnt went negative last Thursday so that was less money we could pay for rent(haha its almost the 14th and we still haven't paid all of rent, we will Friday the 14th though) and we are supposed to pay some of the negative credit card balance on my husbands damn card that over drew our bank account(they didnt' take the payment the day they said they would so when they did not all the money was there). Also the ladies on JM reconmended a website for diapers called Diaper Swappers. I've been checking it out learning about different kinds of diapers. They have a section Free for Shipping, you get that item free just pay shipping, well in that section theres a lotto part, I won one and will be getting 2 fitteds and a pair of longies for $3.50. I'm so happy right now! Even when things seem like they suck to all heck it will turn around sooner or later!

I'm also making some prefolds for Kieran. So far I have 2.5ish, one sewn by hand, not the best thing ever, 1 by machine, it worked great, and one that is almost done also by machine.

Long time no post

I promise to start posting again, I promise to start posting again..I've had a baby since my last post, shes now 4months old! O.o...Off to find a new background for the blog

What the frig

I've felt like crap all week. Tuesday waking up puking, tired and not able to eat. I had an OB appt they were worried about preterm labor, I wasnt. The fFN test came back negative like I figured, but she said my urine looked like a bladder infection but not so they sent it to the lab...not exactaly sure what that ment.

I'm tired of feeling dizzy no matter what, she told me to check my blood sugars when I get dizzy, usually its a sign of them being too low, nope they've been fine normally 103-116 so its not that. My computer is on the ground so I'm laying down most the day and I feel like I'm going to pass out, I get so dizzy every thing spins and I can't see for a few seconds, I feel like I will fall over but obviously I can't sense I'm already laying down.

To top it off Seamus has a tummy bug and diarrhea.
And my husband informs me that he will be working 5days a week 10hours a day till at least the first week of February, I dont need that when I can barley take care of my self right now.

Snow, snow, snow

Last weekend they said we were going to get dumped on, we only ended up with about 3" and half melted then froze. The temps are what was bad, -12 or more with the Windchill.
Monday they said that we were in a Winter Advisory for Wed, expecting 4-7" of snow but we laughed at it. Then late yesterday it was turned into a Winter Storm Warning. I still laughed. Woke up at 8:45am this morning and there was about 2" of snow on the ground, I checked the weather channels website and there was a huge storm over us. I just checked it again at 6:40pm PST and the same storm is over us, hasn't moved sense this morning. I'd guess theres about 4-5" out there now, and the NOAA and NWS and our local news just changed the expected snow fall to

Gestational Diabetes

Fun times again. I took my Gestational Diabetes test last Friday (11/7), and called my Ob's on Tuesday. I failed it, 150 for my 1hr, I can't remember if my offices wants it under 130 for pregnacy or 120. I know 120 and under is normal for a non pregnant person though. The nurse I was talking to I had to "argue" with not really argue with but she was trying to tell me I had to take my 3hr next. I dont have to take the 3hr and I refuse to. The OB that I've seen sense I was 15 told me I didn't need to take the 3hr if I failed the 1hr sense I was on insulin with Seamus. Of course the OB that I've seen the longest in the practice wasnt' there Wed or Tuesday so the nurse said that she'd have one of the other doc's look at my chart. We have to see all 3 Ob's in the office sense they dont' know who will deliver. The Ob that I've seen sense I was 15 said most likely they'd watch my sugars for a week and then into Insulin(told me this around 10weeks preggo). I have my gender u/s on the 21st with Dr. P(the one I've seen the longest) and I will talk to him then sense I havent' gotten a call back from the office yet.
